Beautiful! A Christmas mood was on the air.
There are workshops for kids, where they can learn to bake the traditional Christmas Cookies.

GIMP - Erasing the background - free download

If you want to erase the background with GIMP (graphic software with free download)
make as follow:

- Open your picture as a layer

- Go to Layers - transparency

- Choose add alphacanal

- pic the eraser tool(decide with which hardness you want to work)

- erase the whole background

Thanks for all the kind words.

It is a hard time for me alone here in Austria.

But God gave some good friends to me here and I am so thankfull to have them,to have my friends in Brazil and all of you in the Blogland.

I am very sad to tell that my husband passed away this morning.

I loved him very much and we have a beautiful life together.

He died in the city he loved, and he was so happy to be here again.

My husband had the surgery but he is not going well. I am very afraid he can not survive this, but I pray to God every day.

The picture are for free use. The stair background is from Cemerony, I think you know her (you cn find her adress at Tumblefishstudio).

Thumblefishstudio (see link bellow, on my link list) was talking about softwares you can use to make digital collages, or to use the digital collage sheets you have.

She mentioned Gimp, a free software from Linux (Google). It has the same tools than PS and it is free!!! I am learning to work with this software and if someone want it, I can post what I am finding out.

Thank you all for the kind words! It make me feel better in my new home.

I will post here all the things I like, my works and free images. I will never again lost all my pictures and references lybraries. Digital imagery is a good thing, but what when you lost all? The blog is good way to have the informations you want in every place.

So, enjoy, print and work with this beautiful pictures. It is all for free use. Only the inspiration tag you have to see as an inpiration. Do not copy it, it is a work from an other artist.

Life change - Journal page

My life has change a lot. Since June I am living in Viena, Austria. And my husband is sick in a hospital, he will have a big surgery on this days and I am alone at our new home.

All my art stuff is in Brazil. All this pictures I collected over the years are on my computer in Brazil, my Photoshop, my paints, papers, all. Nobody will send it to me.

So, I have only paper, acrylic paints, and fiber pens. No stamps, no stencils, nothing.

I am trying to get again some images to work with, but meanwhile I am drawing with my pens.

I don't have a scanner but some antique photos I have bought on a fleemarket, I will try to take some pictures from them with me camera and post all here.

Sorry to Martina, I was too busy in the last months!

Hope to blog again, maybe I feel not so alone...
