Altered book - China woman

This little book was an exercise. I had a lot of China pics from a C&A Catalogue, some old photos and Chinese embellishments.
I've tried to make it with a lot of details and textures. The book I've used was a recipe book.
I've glued some pages together with tissue paper and make the collages. It was fun to make it!
By the next book I'll make, I will take some photos to show how I make the basic book.

"Heimat" book

Finally I have done my "Heimat book. It's my first book and it's ok, but I'm not satisfied with the binding. I will think a better way to do it.
Here the details of the book. The Photo with the door is from the time she was in a "sanatorium".
The two kids were the kids from friends.

Finally I finished this book. It's an altered book in style from Karen Whimsy. I call it a "Venezian Masquerade".

Today beginns the new Serie of "House". The third here in Brazil. I love Dr. Greg he is so grumpy, so sarcastic, and I love this.

O lance de fazer carimbos e stencil acabou resultando numa tendinite brava. Quase não consigo escrever, cortar nem pensar.

Noch zwei Seiten zum Projekt "abandon" fertig. In neun Tagen wird das Buch voraussichtlich fertig sein. Dann muss ich es nur noch binden.

Dies war eine gute Idee, weil ich sonst das Büchlein ganz vergssen hätte.

Dafür nähe ich z.Zt. gar nichts.

Inspiremethursday - vergessene Collagen

This is my contribution to the Theme abandon from Inspiremethursday. It was great to rework this Collages, which I abandoned two years ago. It is an altered book and I want to end it in a few days. It was great to found this book. This are the pages I worked on on the last days. The first two are the abandoned work.


Durch Wednesdaystamper und Inspiremethursday habe ich wieder begonnen an alten Collagen zu arbeiten. Zur Zeit arbeite ich weiter an eine Art von Altered Book. Es ist eine Katalog über Wasserburgen von Münster. Ich habe die Fotos fast weggeschmirgelt und einige mit Acryl-Farbe bemalt. Anfangs sollten die Collagen über Frauen sein, die in diesen Burgen einmal gelebt haben.
Aber da die Sache so lange liegen geblieben war, habe ich die Idee vergessen und jetzt arbeite ich freier. Als Bilder benutze ich alles mögliche: Ausschnitte aus Zeitschriften, alte Familienfotos, und jede Menge Papierschnipsel die ich gerne aufhebe und überall herumliegen habe.

Challenge from inspiremethursday

This week inspiremethursday has de challenge abandon. It is about an unfinished artwork. I begann to look for unfinished works, and I found a lot. I have two altered books to finish and a lot of collage work.
