Assemblage - Back Home

This assemblage I made for my grandmother. A picture from here over a bookcover from Stefan Zweig "The fear".

My grandmother was murdered from the Nazis at the II World War. She was depressive and this wasn't good for the "pure race" they wanted.

Instead of a Christmas picture at this blog, I posted this picture to think about of all that people around the world, who have no Christmas, no peace, no food, no water.

Thanks to all wo have read my blog. I have learned to much from all of you.

Two people were very special to me this year: Mauricio Planel (elcollage) and Michelle Ward.

I'm too tired today to make a new card (I've tryed it, but it doesn't works), so I'm using a collage I made some time ago. It's a Sagitarius.

I wish all best things for Heather.

And for my husband too, he had his birthday yesterday.

Where in the world...

Michelle Wards Crusade Nr. 15 (?) is "Where in the World...". She will know a little about the place we live. I've made a little collage with the typical things of São Paulo, the city where I have been lived all my life (and some years in Viena - Austria).

São Paulo is a big city, uggly, chaotic, dangerous, but people love to live here. When you ask people , I think they can't tell you why.

Maybe beacuse here you can find the big job opportunities, you have people from everywhere in the world, a muslim and a jew living peaceful together, you can find creativity with few things. Bad architecture, but you have Niemeyer too.

You can eat at street vendors or in expensive restaurants. Here you can find (this is great), the weekly street market with all kinds of vegetables and fruits. And it is cheap! With about U$ 10 you have meal for the whole week. And healthy!

And the most important: the sun. Ok, We have some rainy days, but abou 200 or more days in a year we have sun. And sun means: beach. And this is the best!

Posted on dezember, 13: I was speaking with a friend, who arrives yesterday from Germany. The most important thing in Brazil is: people laugh and doesn't takes life too serieously! (she said that).

TMTA - Mosaics

Das Thema von TMTA ist diesmal "Mosaic". Ich liebe die Arbeiten von Laurie Mika und habe sogar mal versucht damit zu arbeiten. Es entstand eine kleine Schachtel.

Bei der ATC benutzte ich meine neuen Stempel von Loast and Cost Design. Der Stempel im Hintergrudn ist selbst geschnitzt.


Theme from TMTa is "Mosaic. I also love the work from Laurie Mika and I'v tryed to work with this little pieces and made a little box. I used my new stamps from Lost an Coast Design to make the ATC. The background mosaic are a self carved stamp.
